Guess the Mickey?

This board game explores the gray area of copyright infringement through the lens of Mickey Mouse’s public domain status. Featuring designs of 'Mickey Mouse' drawn (from memory) by 60 individuals arranged on a spectrum from most ‘mouse-like’ to most ‘Mickey Mouse-like’, the game challenges players to determine which designs legally cross the line. Verified by a production manager from the Hong Kong Disney branch, the project highlights the evolving boundaries of intellectual property.

Rules: Players flip down each individual card that they believe breaches Disney’s Mickey Mouse copyright protection. The answers are displayed on the back of each card when flipped over, with green representing the design being legally acceptable, and red representing that the design breaches Disney’s copyright.
